Buy / Sell · how to read it

How to use a buy/sell call (and when to ignore it)

A BUY or SELL on this site is not a price. It is a directional outlook: bullishmeans we expect that player’s dynasty value to rise from here; bearish means we expect it to fall. That reading matches /methodology. It is not a claim that the player will finish as the overall WR1, and it is not last year’s finish.

Second question, not the first

Use it as a second question, not the first. First question: does this player fit the roster you imported — Superflex, TE premium, contend or rebuild. Second: is the model’s outlook pointing the same way as the trade you are about to click. The homepage BUY/SELL demo is the same call language applied to a sample roster — not a separate product.

Open the buy / sell / hold board after you know your format, not before.

When to ignore it

Ignore it when the sample underneath is thin. The track-record page is explicit that buy/sell signal showed up among high-level producers and that those groups are small. A call on a deep-bench dart is not the same evidence as a call on a locked-in starter.

Also ignore it if you are using it to paper over the other number we publish: last-season PPG still beats the ranking (0.660 vs 0.601). A buy/sell call is not permission to pretend 0.601 is 0.660. Source of truth: /track-record.
