How the dynasty values work.

Dynasty Cheat Code is market anchored, not market copied. FantasyCalc public values are credited and used as the market comparison input; the value you see is our original model blended with that anchor, then adjusted for your format.

Displayed value

With a real market signal, the displayed value stays anchored to the FantasyCalc market price, with our original model blended in as the differentiator. Without one, the engine caps the player so unpriced names cannot jump established assets.

Model composite

The model is production-led, then weighs age, role security, contract security, and long-term upside, and subtracts a risk penalty. The exact blend is our own.

BUY / SELL / HOLD

Calls are calibrated model-vs-market deltas. The median model-market offset is subtracted at build time, and consensus elite players are never labeled SELL.

Formats

Values begin as base 1QB/PPR/start-9 numbers. The format layer applies a smooth quarterback ramp for Superflex and 2QB, plus a moderate TE-premium lift for high-end tight ends. There are no hard cliffs where two nearly equal players get wildly different multipliers.

Refresh & validation

The weekly refresh pulls FantasyCalc market value and 30-day trend, Sleeper player ids, optional production feeds, then rebuilds the database. Current validation shows Spearman 0.983 vs FantasyCalcas a market-alignment check. The honest backtest note: the model is contrarian to 30-day momentum (gap-to-trend correlation -0.17 on the sample), which may be healthy for long-term value but is not proof of profit.

FAQ

Are these FantasyCalc rankings?

No. FantasyCalc public market values are used as a market comparison input. Dynasty Cheat Code displays an original model value blended with that market anchor, and buy/sell/hold is based on where the model disagrees with market price.

How is a displayed player value calculated?

When market data exists, the displayed value stays anchored primarily to the FantasyCalc market price, with our original model blended in. The model is production-led and also weighs age, role security, contract security, and long-term upside, then subtracts a risk penalty. The exact weighting is proprietary.

Why can a hot player still be a sell?

The call compares our model to the market after subtracting the median model-market offset at build time. A hot player can be a sell if the market has moved farther than the model supports. Consensus elite assets are guarded from SELL calls.

How do Superflex and TE premium change values?

The engine starts from a base 1QB value, then applies smooth format multipliers. Quarterback values ramp up in Superflex and 2QB without cliffs, and elite tight ends receive a moderate SF TE-premium lift.

How often are values refreshed?

The refresh job runs weekly in season and can also be run manually. It pulls FantasyCalc market values and 30-day trend, open Sleeper player data, optional production feeds, then seeds the production database.
