How the engine values QB

Quarterbacks peak later than skill-position players. The veteran model treats the dynasty peak window around age 27, with the slowest post-peak decay of any skill position and a late window that keeps locked-in starters from becoming automatic sells just because they are in their thirties. Age alone is never enough for a Bearish label — role weakness or elevated risk has to show up too.

On the base 1QB board, quarterbacks sit below equal-evidence running backs and receivers because replacement quarterbacks are available. Superflex and SF TE-premium apply a continuous ramp: streamers get a modest lift; elites get the largest one. 2QB pushes scarcity further. That is why the same player can look ordinary in 1QB and cornerstone in Superflex without any change to his production profile.

Role security rewards franchise quarterbacks most. Backup depth-chart slots are real for win-now questions, but unproven roles regress toward a prior so a synthetic chart constant is not treated as measured evidence. Draft pedigree matters early; once games accumulate, production takes over. Buy/sell is a directional outlook on our own value — Bullish means we expect the number to rise — not a gap versus a consensus chart.

Use this page with the format your league actually plays. The table below is the live Superflex-default board unless you switch formats elsewhere; compare 1QB and Superflex side by side before you pay Superflex prices in a one-QB room. For package math, open the trade calculator in the same format.

Peak window used in the age curve: about age 27. Full story: methodology and trade value basics. Values below are the live board — not re-ranked by hand.
